On this site you can actually apply for health plans directly without the annoyance of several dozen agents and telemarketers calling you.  Also you will have access to me personally if you need any help applying or have any questions.  I actually would prefer you do this before submitting an application, especially if you have any pre-existing medical conditions because this could cause underwriting problems or rate ups if this is done incorrectly.  I can also pre-screen with any of these particular companies to reveiw what the underwriting outcome would be.

One point that I would like to make is that my services come at no cost to you.  The insurance companies pay me to place my clients in the correct plan for them, to explain the health insurance benefits of each policy, the pricing structure so that you know exactly what you are paying for, and to assist with applications.

If you choose to do an aplication on your own, do yourself a favor and contact your doctors and local hospital first to see what plans they accept.  The out of pocket costs such as doctor office co-pays, hospitalization deductibles, coinsurance, and maximum out of pocket can vary greatly between in-network and out of network.  This is protecting yourself from higher healthcare costs.

Also take into consideration Qualified High Deductible Plans that also qualify you for an HSA account.  This type of plan saves you a lot when it comes to what you have to pay monthly premiums.  They do not cover small medical expenses untill you have reached a yearly deductible, but after it is reached you are covered very well for all medical expenses after that.  Some even cover 100% of all medical expenses past that point.  What I suggest is that my clients take the difference that they would have been paying for a traditional PPO policy and put it into an HSA account to cover any out of pocket expenses they might have before reaching the yearly deductible.  These accounts are tax deffered and also accumulate interest.

In addition to the health and life insurance companies that you can apply directly to, I carry many specialized plans for those who have difficulty getting approved for traditional health plans.  If you are in this situation please call me, I will help you and show you your options.

I also carry medicare supplement insurance and medicare part-d plans.  If you need this type of health plan or have a family member in need of one, please call me.  Due to the complex nature of medicare supplements I prefer to meet clients face to face, preferrably with a family member who I help set up as a “gatekeeper” for them when making decisions about medicare products.

Another thing that I do for all of my clients is help them design a defensive investment portfolio.  No, I am not a stock broker.  Defensive investments are insurance products that help my clients protect everything that they have worked for from going down the drain for themselfs and their family.

These include term life insurance, whole life insurance, final expense insurance, funeral trust services, childrens whole life, long term care insurance, disability insurance, specified disease, critical illnes, cancer policies, accidental death insurance, fixed rate annuities, one pay whole life.

Realize higher profit by using the best health leads available.

For instance in health insurance so many people are dead set on the what is in it for me aspect, such as if I am paying a monthly premium I should be able to at least be able to get the small things covered up front such as doctor visits, prescriptions, and the worst deal in the insurance world, dental, covered.

You are setting yourselves up to lose in the financial gamble. period. 

The insurance companies (who are the folks who pay me) have a group of mathematical geniuses called actuaries on their side who figure out how to make you pay for these things to them than you would actually pay out of your pocket.

The real gamble you are facing is not the ability to pay for the small things but the ability to pay for the large things such as an unexpected illnes ( or even a develloped illness due to an unhealthy or risky lifestyle) or random major accidents.

My wife is a paramedic who encounters these things on a daily basis of people who financially “win the lottery” or lose due to insurance coverage on a daily basis.  She does not pick up people on the way to Walgreens or to their Doctors visits, or going to the dentist.

She pulls people out of ditches who have just encountered a life changing situation.  She picks up the person who was on a porch swing who was having a good time with a grandchild.  The porch swing fell and now someone who was enjoying life to the fullest a few minutes before is now paralyzed (and has since died due to complications.)  Did he have health insurance or life insurance?  Thank god he did!

Or the mother who picked up her kids from school only to run up under a jack-knifed 18 wheeler.  She was killed instantly and one of her kids severly hurt.  Did they have insurance?  I don’t know.  I just know that my wife looses a lot of sleep at night by all the things she encounters on a daily basis, and that I could never do her job.
